I had a great workout with Michaela this morning!! I was the only person who showed up today so she decided to kick my ass.....
For warm up we did our normal stretches. lunge extensions across the gym. Then she did this evil thing where I had to jump rope for a minute, climb the hanging rope, and do 5 knee pull ups on the olympic bars for three sets. NOT a warm up. more like torture.
For the workout, we did 8 rounds timed of 4 bench dips, 4 vertical pull ups, 8 kettle bell swings, and 10 shoulder presses. I finished in 10:42!! YEAH!
I need to lose 5 more lbs within the next two weeks so I stay on track for 8lbs a month. I kinda lost it with my diet the past 2 or 3 weeks with the superbowl, cookie party, and just plain pigging out. but WHATEVS.
Ladies..... I'm excited for yoga!! I'll be attending the lunch time classes. Those are more convenient for me:-)
We did the 'Fran' Cross Fit WOD today. 3 sets of 21-15-9 reps of thrusters and pull-ups, going for the fastest time. Thrusters are a combination of a front squat with a bar and motioning to an overhead push press. It gave me callouses! gross. I still do jumping pull-ups, but it's a goal to work towards to do a correct one. My time was 16:22. Here's a pic of me and Rob for today afterwards. I BEAT ROB!! But only because he was thrusting with 50 lbs more... but who cares!! Feels nice to say that I beat him hahaha!

So I'm due for a post... Weight loss to date is 10 lbs. AMAZING! I'm on a mission to lose more, so maybe another month. I'm not as strict with my diet as I started out to be. I allow myself to eat BAD but I just don't extremely pig out. WELL... except for Saturday after the 10K. I went to POPEYES like right after and I made Pepe go to Chili's to get me a jalepeno bacon burger for dinner:-X I didn't eat the fries?? LOL I guess that was my cheat day hahaha
I'm trying to set a lot of goals this year in terms of events I want to participate in... Bay To Breakers, Muddy Buddy, Jungle Run, RnR Half, Sea Otter with Pepe.... can you believe he actually said he would do a 5K with us?? I'm glad:-) I want him to be healthy for Shelly and us to be good examples to her about staying fit and healthy.
